The Shinzo Abe Research Center is dedicated to nurturing the next generation, deepening mutual understanding between Taiwan and Japan, and learning from the policies of Prime Minister Abe. With a mission to enhance Taiwan–Japan understanding, the Center promotes interdisciplinary research focused on diplomatic strategies and economic policies, while working to establish a forward-looking knowledge platform.
By focusing on the policy frameworks shaped during Abe’s leadership and the evolution of Taiwan–Japan relations, the Center seeks to introduce new perspectives into Taiwan’s studies of Japanese diplomacy and strategy. At the same time, the Center is actively committed to cultivating a new generation with an international outlook, promoting academic exchange, building databases, and encouraging policy dialogue.
